The Road and Bridge Department maintains the roads, bridges, and numerous drainage structures in the Eastern District of unincorporated part of Buchanan County.  Routine and preventative maintenance includes applying gravel to rural roads, chip and seal roads, mowing, patching and sealing.   They also provide street signs as well as snow removal and ice control.  The Eastern District Commissioner is responsible for initiating, monitoring, and completing capital improvement projects related to Buchanan County’s roads and bridges.  For Eastern district questions or to report a concern, visit: https://co-buchanan-mo.govbuilt.com/road-and-bridge-east
