Meet the Buchanan County Assessor Dean Wilson.  Dean graduated from Central High School in St. Joseph, MO and went on to attend Missouri Western.  He became a State Certified Real Estate Appraiser in 1999 and opened Wilson Appraisal Services from 2000 to 2013.  In 2014 he was a State Licensed loan officer with Fairway Independent Mortgage and took office as the Buchanan County Assessor in July of 2021.  Dean is married to his wife of 29 years and has a daughter and a son.  In his free time, he enjoys golfing and fishing.
